Enjoy an afternoon of fun with the Clinton Fishing Club, whose mission is to promote fishing for youth and the greater community. All ages are welcome, but ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Prizes will be awarded for the biggest fish and the most fish caught, and kids will receive fishing goodie bags! The goal is to offer additional fishing days in the future, creating more opportunities for the community to get outside and enjoy time on the water. Ideas being considered include kayaking down Turtle Creek or hosting a fishing day on a local lake. Stay tuned for more outdoor adventures ahead! This all-levels yoga class is designed to leave you feeling balanced, strong, and relaxed. Through a combination of standing and seated postures, you’ll stretch and strengthen your body while improving balance and stability. Gentle yet challenging, this feel good class helps release tension, build core strength, and increase flexibility. Participants must be able to comfortably get up and down from the ground. Please bring a yoga mat.Sunday gradual yoga will be indoors with the option to go outdoors when the weather is enjoyable. Sunday yoga is per date, similar to drop-in, but advanced registration is required.A minimum number of participants is required to run the class. Please sign up 1 week before the first class date to ensure there are enough people for the class. If the minimum number is met, a drop-in option will be available. Spend a special morning making memories together at Grandparents Camp! This relaxed, family-friendly program is designed for grandparents and grandchildren to connect, play, and enjoy time together at their own pace. Designed for ages 3+. There is no limit on age of the grandchildren - all are welcome!Tentative Schedule:- Welcome/Ice Breakers- 4 Open Play Stations: 2 crafts, outdoor or indoor play, and puzzle/game area- Root Beer Float Social- Bingo- 4 Open Play Stations: fun questionnaire about grandparents/grandchildren, photo station, "Open When..." letter station, and finish up any crafts or games The program will take place in the Clinton Elementary School cafeteria, where comfortable seating and tables will be available throughout the event so grandparents can easily participate and take breaks as needed. Families will move through a variety of simple, nostalgic activities together, including classic card games like War and Go Fish, puzzles, and other light games that grandparents may remember from their own childhood. In addition to these relaxed stations, there will be an organized group activity such as bingo and a hands-on craft keepsake that families can complete together. Families will also enjoy a fun root beer float snack during the morning. During open play time, grandchildren are welcome to take their grandparents outside to the CES playground to show them where they play at recess. The event is designed to be easygoing and accessible, with no uneven terrain or long walking distances. Families can participate in activities at their own pace while enjoying a morning of laughter, storytelling, and connection. Grandparents Camp is all about slowing down, sharing stories, and creating special memories that will last long after the morning ends.This unique program is designed for all ages and encourages laughter, learning, and quality time across generations. Each pair will leave with a keepsake to remember their day together. This is an adult/child program and the registration fee covers one grandparent and one child. Please register the child only. If additional children from the same family will attend, the cost is $5 per additional child. If more than one grandparent would like to attend, there is no additional fee. When registering, please list the names of all grandparents attending when prompted. Be sure to register each child individually, and the additional child discount will be applied automatically at checkout at the very end.
