This all-levels yoga class is designed to leave you feeling balanced, strong, and relaxed. Through a combination of standing and seated postures, you’ll stretch and strengthen your body while improving balance and stability. Gentle yet challenging, this feel good class helps release tension, build core strength, and increase flexibility. Participants must be able to comfortably get up and down from the ground. Please bring a yoga mat.Sunday gradual yoga will be indoors with the option to go outdoors when the weather is enjoyable. Sunday yoga is per date, similar to drop-in, but advanced registration is required.A minimum number of participants is required to run the class. Please sign up 1 week before the first class date to ensure there are enough people for the class. If the minimum number is met, a drop-in option will be available. This class is designed for those who have little to no experience and are wanting to give it a try! Learn the basics of crochet, how to read a simple pattern, terminology and create useful projects! All supplies are included. This program equips kids with the skills they need to stay safe when home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The class features engaging games and role-playing exercises. Participants will practice rescue techniques, such as choking rescue, using manikins. Class includes lunch, a safe sitter bag, and a student handbook. Students learn how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Students are also introduced to the Safe Sitter First Aid Chart and learn a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses.
