Most beneficial for advancing age individuals who want to improve their quality of life, or someone who has been through an injury causing an ability change. This program is a combination of static/dynamic exercises with elements from Tai Chi, Yoga, and Functional Movement Training. Embark on a fun and relaxing two-hour social paddle along the scenic Turtle Creek! Whether you're a seasoned kayaker or a beginner, this adventure is perfect for anyone who enjoys nature, fresh air, and great company. Paddle at your own pace while taking in the beautiful surroundings and connecting with fellow paddlers. Bring your own kayak unless you add on a kayak at registration. Fee includes shuttling. Plan to meet at 9:15am at Sweet Allyn Park to shuttle to Hwy 140 launch and be in the water by 10am. *Kayaks are available for rent for $20 additional with shuttling included. Add a kayak onto your registration at the end. If balance is an issue, this is a great way to learn how to adapt so you can sit tall and stay strong. This class incorporates great music that will brighten your day and movement that will help you feel less stiff and achy.Participants are subject to a background check (same process as visitors go through during the school day) with CAP activities during the school hours the first class only. Grab your bike (scooter, bike trailer, etc.), put on your helmet, and join the Ride or Seek Bike Scavenger Hunt! Follow clues to different locations around Clinton, collecting a sticker at each stop to add to your medal. Once you've completed the hunt, head back to Clinton Elementary School for your final “Finishers Sticker.” Explore the community, solve clues, and enjoy the adventure! Ready to ride and seek? Let’s go! Adult participation required with ages 13 and under. Please sign up each person.Sign-in will open at 9:00am. Please arrive early to get situated and ready to go promptly at 9:30am.
